Slater Trout x Marmot Featherless Line

I’m getting ready to go on an adventure that involves lots of snow! Before I jump into this blog I wanted to say thank you to Marmot and ShopStyle for sponsoring this post. Marmot recently sent me one of their new Schussing Featherless Jackets. I’ve been breaking it in out here in Southern California and I’m loving it so far! This weekend I’m headed up to the Sawtooth Mountains for a snowboarding trip. Can’t wait to really put this jacket to the test. If you want to learn more about Marmot’s Featherless Line, click the buttons below.

Cheers,

Slater

Slater Trout x Marmot Featherless Line

Hey guys!

First off I wanted to say thank you for Marmot and ShopStyle for sponsoring this post!

It's been a while since I have blogged so thanks for hanging in there with me. Winter is quickly approaching which means cold weather and hopefully lots of snow! I have a bunch of cold weather adventures planned this year so I wanted to take a minute to show you guys what jacket I will be wearing this season. It's a brand new release from one of my favorite brands, Marmot. The jacket is called the Schussing Featherless Jacket, it’s a new release part of Marmot’s new Featherless line. I am a huge fan of featherless technology because it consist of 75% recycled material that feels just as warm as any 700 fill power down jacket out there. The fit is about as perfect as it gets for a jacket like this. True to size is an understatement, this jacket fits like a glove. It's also waterproof and extremely breathable. If you want to learn more and check out the Featherless line for yourself, click the link buttons below.

Cheers,

Slater

Day 1, Kevlavík Iceland

We finally arrived in North Eastern Europe. We spent the first night walking through the city of Oslo, Norway with all of our gear. We stayed at this guys house in a tiny closet sized room. I tried to plug in all of my electronics at once and I blew out the power. The whole building went dark. The next day, we flew to Iceland. During sunrise, I got to watch a rare Solar Eclipse. We stayed on a smalll fishing harbor in Kevalvík. Also our rental car is a smart car with two doors. Headed North to explore tomorrow!
